Mangroves are known for its environmental services that it provides for protecting the coastlines from erosion and inundation. The mangrove forest happens to fall near the sea surface which makes it vulnerable from the impacts of global climate change mostly by human activities. One of the major causes of the depletion is the adoption of inappropriate policies and poorly defined property rights structure in the coastal region of the country. This paper analyses the one policy that covers shrimp farming in the mangrove forest. This is a systematic review that is based on secondary data collected from articles and journal studies. Also the research is based on the result of Interview and survey responses that has been collected from local people who live in Bagerhat, Satkhira, khula, Coxs Bazar and Chittagong. Overall some negative reviews came on the subject of class marginalization on shrimp farming, various environmental stressors on mangrove forest and rapid employment opportunities. So an integrated approach is proposed, by understanding the existing management through supplementary scientific studies. Some of the sustainable strategies can incorporate all stakeholders to protect the forest, awareness program, reduced forest dependency of local people and adequate planning.en_US
