| dc.description.abstract | The Kalash community in Chitral is very different from the rest of the communities in Pakistan due to very different cultural and religious practices. Due to their distinctive practices and culture they have been secluded from the rest of the Pakistani community. Due to such seclusion their educational practices are not consistent with the more urban areas in Pakistan. In order to understand the educational practices of the Kalash community we conducted qualitative research. Our research sought to better understand the Kalash community, their educational practices, and their changing outlook towards formal education. Our analysis explores our insight into the Kalash community after the research. On the basis of our analysis we also give our recommendations to the Kalash community for further improvement in their educational practices. | en_US |
